Heart Accents which you can download
HERE

Font Of Your Choice
(I used the font "Love Light" which is a PTU font which I can't supply)

Let's Begin

1. Open a new canvas 550 x 350 transparent background

2. From the Red Hot Taggers Kit open up the BCS red leafy paper , "selections", "select all" then "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "selections", "select all" then "
edit paste into selection"

3.
Now go to "Selections", "Select All", then "Selections", "Modify", "Select Selections Borders"
(See the print screen below for the settings I used)

4. Add a new layer by going to "Layers", "New Raster Layer"

5.
On your Foreground and Stroke Properties on your materials palette flood fill your new layer with color #90a4af.
(it should only fill that selected area which will be a border looking area. you can see my print screen below for what I have now)

6.  Now add an inner bevel to the border with the settings shown in the print screen below

7.  Open your hearts accents in PSP.  "Edit Copy" then go back to your main image and "edit", "paste as new layer" Move it so some of the hearts are showing in border area (it should still be selected with the marching ants showing) I started in the upper left hand side.  Once you have it placed go to "Selections",  "invert" then hit the "delete key" on your keyboard.
You can see my print screen below for what I have.  Notice the heart accents on the top left hand side of the border

8.  The hearts accent will still be on your clipboard so once again go to "edit copy" then "edit paste as a new layer".  Once again place the hearts over a part of your border you want to add them to then hit your "delete" key on your keyboard.  Repeat this step as many times as it takes for you to cover your border with the heart accents.
See my print screen below for what I have now

9.  "Selections", "Select None"

10.  I added the hearts to my bottom red background layer as well.

11.  Close the visiblity of your bottom red background layer and your border layer by clicking the eye on each layer in your layer palette.  Right click on any of the heart accent layers and "merge visible"  open the visibility of your layers again by clicking on the eye on each layer.

12. From the Red Hot Taggers Kit open up the BCS Pin 2, "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "
edit paste as a new layer" reduce size to 40% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "40%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it over to the right hand side
(see my print screen below for what I have now)

13.  From the Red Hot Taggers Kit open up the BCS Puddle Ribbon, "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "
edit paste as a new layer" reduce size to 30% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "30%" all layers UNCHECKED.

14.  "Image", "Rotate" "Free Rotate" and use the settings shown in the preview below.

Move your ribbon to the top of your image
(see my print screen for what I have now)

15.  Make sure this layer is your top layer on your layer palette and on your layer palette right click on it and "duplicate", then "image", "flip" the "image",  "mirror"  Move the bottom ribbon over slightly over to the left so it lines up with the ribbon up top
(see my print screen for what I have now)

16.  Right click on it and "duplicate", then ""Image", "Rotate" "Free Rotate" and use the settings shown in the preview below.

17.  Reduce size to 80% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "80%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it over to the left side
(see my print screen for what I have now)

18. Right click again and "duplicate" , then "image", "mirror" then "image", "flip"
(see my print screen below for what I have)

19.  From the Red Hot Taggers Kit open up the BCS Deep Red Bow, "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "
edit paste as a new layer" reduce size to 15% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "15%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move and place it at the top left of the ribbon frame you just made.
(see my print screen below for what I have)

20.  Right click on that layer on your layers palette and "duplicate", then "image", "mirror".  Right click on that layer in your layer palette and "merge down".  Right click and "duplicate" then "image", "flip"
(see my print screen below for what I have)

21.  Open your tube of choice and paste it on to your canvas placing it inside the ribbon frame.

22.  From the Red Hot Taggers Kit open up the BCS Glitter Heart, "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "
edit paste as a new layer" reduce size to 30% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "30%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move and place it at the top middle of the ribbon frame

23.  From the Red Hot Taggers Kit open up the BCS Red Bow, "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "edit paste as a new layer" reduce size to 40% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "40%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move and place on top of the glitter heart you just added.

24.  I then added a few more elements from the kit to my tag. I added another bow to the centre bottom of the ribbon frame and added the candle.  You can add whatever else you'd like or those elements that I did.
(see my print screen below for what I have now)

25. I used the font "Love Light" and added my name.  I also added it to the top of the heart pin.

26.  Add your appropriate copyright information and you're done!!

You can save your finished tag as a jgp or png.
You will notice for my sample tag I added some flames to my candle. I decided not to go into that with this tutorial as that requires an external filter and I wanted to keep this tut simple enough that everyone could do.

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and as always I love to see your results and would love even more to post them on my website on the "Tutorials Results" page. Just go to my "contact me" page and send me a message.
