For this tutorial you will need

* Tube of choice, I am using the work of Anne Stokes. It is a FTU Tube which you can download
HERE
Please make sure you add the copyright information to your finished tag that is supplied with the tube

* Scrap Kit I used is from Baby Cakes Scraps called "Vintage In Blue" which you can purchase from Baby Cakes Scraps Blog HERE

* Butterfly Bling which you can download
HERE

* Alien Skin Eyecandy 4000

(if you don't have this plug in go to google and search "Alien Skin Eyecandy 4000")
If you can't find the filter you can always use a drop shadow in place of the gradient glow.

* Animation Shop

Font Of Your Choice
(I'm using the font Champignon size 55)

Let's Begin

1. Open a new canvas 600 x 600 white background

2. From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up in PSP the following;

bca floral paper
bcs blue lace fold
bcs blue wronled lace
BCS CU DOODLE THREEBCS_Swirls_2
bcs flourish frame
bcs foil bfly
bcs satin bow
bcs swirl
bcs swirl stars
bcs blue cord

3. From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs swirl stars, "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your new canvas. Reduce size to 45% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "45%" all layers UNCHECKED

4. Move near the top of your canvas (about 1/4  way down from the top). On your layer palette right click and
"duplicate"

5. Go to "image" "mirror" the "image", "flip". Right click on your top layer and "merge down"
(merging your bcs swirl stars layers to 1)
(see print screen below for what I have now)

6.  You can add a drop shadow if you like.  The drop shadow I used (and will use throught the rest of this tutorial) is;
Vertical - 3
Horizontal - 2
Opacity - 20
Blur - 3
Color - Black (#000000)

7.  . From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs flourish frame , "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 50% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "50%" all layers UNCHECKED
Move the frame so it's in the centre of your canvas.

8.  Using Eyecandy 4000 we're going to add a "gradient glow" to the frame.  Go to "effects", "plugins" and find your
"eyecandy 4000",
"gradient glow"

Under the BASIC Tab choose the following settings;
Glow width - 6
Soft Corners - 25
Overall Opacity - 45

Under the COLOR Tab choose the following settings;
Color - #898ca4
Opacity - 100%

9.  Take your magic wand tool and click inside the frame until you have marching ants
The best settings I found to do this with are as follows;
(see print screen below)
Mode: Add(shift), Match mode: RGB Value, Tolerance: 102, Contiguous checked, Feather: 0, Anti-alias checked, Inside
image

10. "Selections", "Modify", "Expand" and choose "15"

11. Open a paper of your choice from the scrap kit. I decided to use
"bca floral paper".
"Selections", "Select All"
then "Edit", "Copy" "edit, paste as a new layer" on to your new canvas.

12. "Selections", "invert" then hit your "delete key" on your keyboard. Move this layer below your frame layer.
"Selections", "Select None"
On your layer palette right click on your frame layer and "merge down" (you are merging your frame layer with your paper layer"

13.  Add same drop shadow as previously
(see my print screen below for what I have now)

13.
From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the BCS CU DOODLE THREE, "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 50% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "50%" all layers UNCHECKED.  On your layer palette right click and "duplicate" then "image", "flip"  On your layer palette right click on your top doodle layer and "merge down" so your merging your two doodle layers together.  On your layer palette move your merged doodle layer UNDER your frame layer.  Add same drop shadow as previously

14.
From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs foil bfly , "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 45% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "45%" all layers UNCHECKED.  Move it to the upper left side of your frame.  Add same drop shadow as previously
(see my print screen below for what I have now)

The next steps we're going to be adding a cluster of elements to the bottom of the frame.  When placing the next elements, place them at the bottom of your frame centred.

15.
From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs blue lace fold  , "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 25% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "25%" all layers UNCHECKED.  "Image", "Flip", then "Image", "Free Rotate" rotating it 90 degrees.
(see my print screen below fo settings)

16.  On your layer's palette right click and "duplicate", then "image", "mirror".  Right click on your layer and "merge down".  Move this layer BELOW your frame layer. You may want to move this lace layer down just a little bit so more of it's showing below your frame.  Add the same drop shadow as previously.

17.
From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs blue wronled lace , "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 20% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "20%" all layers UNCHECKED.  "Image", "Flip".  On your layer palette right click and "duplicate" then "image", "mirror".  On your layer palette right click and "merge down"

18.  From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs blue cord, "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 65% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "65%" all layers UNCHECKED.  On your layer palette right click and "duplicate" then "image", "mirror".  On your layer palette right click and "merge down"

19.  From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs swirl , "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 45% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "45%" all layers UNCHECKED. Place it right in the centre of the  bottom of your frame.
(see print screen below for what you should have now)

20.
From the Blue Vintage Scrap Kit open up the bcs satin bow, "edit", "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 30% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "30%" all layers UNCHECKED. Place it right in the centre of the  bottom of your frame.  I decided to colorize mine to match the other blues a bit better.  How I did this was by going to "Adjust", "Hue and Saturation", "Colorize".  I used the settings' Hue-172,  Saturation-56.  Move the bow to the centre at the bottom of the frame.  Add the same drop shadow as before

21.  Open up your tube of choice.  In my case I'm using the beautiful artwork of Anne Stokes.  "Edit" "copy" then "edit", "paste as a new layer" on to your canvas. Reduce size to 65% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "65%" all layers UNCHECKED. Place over to the right so it looks like she's sitting cradled inside the frame with her legs hanging over.  Drop shadow using the same settings as previously

22.  On your layer palette change the "Blend Mode" to "Luminance (Legacy)"  Drop shadow using the same settings as previously

23.  Add your name to the upper left hand side (inside the frame).  I used the font "
Champignon" withe the size set at 55.  I also rotated the name to the left a bit.  I did this by using my "pick tool"  Once you click on your pick tool you'll see a box appear around it with handles.  The area where it shows the bent handle (which comes out from inside the box) is how you can rotate it.  I've print screened below where to find the pick tool if you don't know where it is.  (Make sure after you're done with the pick tool you click back on your move tool). Once happy with your name give it the same drop shadow as before.

24.  Add all the proper copyright information to your tag.

25.  See the print screen below for how it should look now

26.  You can now save your tag as a png file or jpg if you don't want to add the animation to it.

If you'd like to add the animated butterfly continue below.

ANIMATION

1.  Open up Animation Shop

2.  Open up the "plain bling' OR the "blue bling" whichever you prefer to use.  I supplied both in case you are using different colors on your tag and you didn't want a blue one.  In my case I'm opening the blue bling.
You will notice your bling has 38 frames.

3. Go back to PSP and
"Edit", "Copy Special", "Copy Merged"
(see my print screen below if you're having trouble finding this)

4.  Go back to Animation Shop and
"Edit", then "Paste as new animation"
(seen my print screen below for what you should have open)

5.  Click on your image you just brought from PSP and go to "Edit" then "Duplicate Selected". Continue to do this until you have 38 frames

6.  Once you have 38 frames of your fairy image go to
"Edit" then "Select All"

7.  Go back to your bling image and click on it to make it active then go to "Edit" then "Select All" then
"Edit", "Copy"

8.  Go back to your main fairy image and "edit" then "paste into selection".  You will want to move your mouse BEFORE YOU CLICK and move the bling into postion.  I know this may take a few tries to get but what I found  the best is when you move your mouse up and over to the left a bit you'll see a small part of the bling appear.  Place that in her bottom hand and it should line it up for you.  You can preview what the animation looks like by clicking the preview button up on your top toolbar.  If you don't like it just Click on "edit" "undo" and try it again until you have it placed where you want.  I got it placed so it looks like the butterfly is taking off from her bottom hand and landing in her top hand.

9.  Once you're happy save your animation and you're ALL DONE
